This year was my first Thanksgiving with my wife, Allyson. We spent it at her parents’ house, and had a wonderful time. One of the best parts for me was making a sweet potato gratin, to contribute to the meal.

I never used to decorate my apartment for the seasons before I got married, but now I do! Allyson and I picked up some pumpkins on Sunday and have them arranged as a centerpiece on our dining room table. It finally feels like autumn!
